Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q:
Why do I need another poker platform? What makes the difference?
A:
Play poker with your friends when you are actually meeting them in real life. Use your mobile phones, pads and notebooks to play if you have no cards and chips. Your mobile devices will show you your cards, chips and provide further information on play status. If you are tired of shuffling cards at the real poker table, simply switch to this online poker platform. Setup is very simple, no registration is required and all is for free.
Q:
Why is the viewer role so important on this platform?
A:
Add as many viewing devices as preferred to your poker table. For example place an iPad in the middle of your (physical) table with its only purpose of showing the community cards; in this case, simply hide all other display elements and set a maximum zoom factor on this device (after login via viewer role). If you have an additional spare device, set another focus, e.g. only display your. Having this option of adding customized user views on multiple devices brings you closer to the poker feeling of real tables.
Q:
Can I use this platform to play against persons from abroad via Internet?
A:
Technically, the platform runs on an internet server and players can use it from around the globe as soon as internet connection is available. Therefore, it is possible to play against players from abroad, however, it is not the targeted purpose and strength of this poker platform. Keep in mind that synchronization and communication is more complicated in non-physical games. If you still would like to play against your friends remotely, use additional communication tools such as Skype.
Q:
Which mobile devices are supported?
A:
There are no restrictions. The game is based on web-browsers and therefore open to the vast majority of modern computing devices. As soon as internet connectivity and a web-browser is available on your device, you can use this poker platform.
(iPhones, Samsung Galaxy devices and Windows v7-v8 computers have been thoroughly tested and compatibility is expected with many other devices. However, if issues have been found, please report via tab "Help ► Contacts" after login.)
Q:
Is it possible to play against computers (AI) instead of humans on this poker platform?
A:
Invite your friends to play poker with you. Send them the URL to this poker web-site and provide the table name you have created. It is more fun and exciting to play against humans. This poker platform does not support games against computer players (Artificial Intelligence, AI) at the moment.
Q:
Why do sound notifications and vibration alarms not work?
A:
Sound and vibration features depend on browser and device implementation. Some browser providers intentionally suppress music clips on mobile phones due to larger data volume typically involved. Try various browsers on your devices (if multiple browsers are installed) to possibly find the browser supporting the missing feature. Most notebooks support the sound feature.
Q:
What is the difference between eCards and pCards?
A:
eCards and pCards are different playing modes.
In eCards mode, the whole poker table is simulated respectively controlled by your mobile devices; in particular, this includes cards and chips.
The pCards mode is different, i.e. cards must be dealt physically and as a consequence, the winner must be manually entered at the end of the game. In particular, the information about player's own stack and pot-size is still provided from the mobile devices. The dealer or players enter their action as instructed by the poker platform.
Q:
Does this platform support poker tournaments?
A:
Blinds and Antes can be changed. Therefore, it is possible to play poker tournaments as well as cash-games.
Q:
I am not familiar with poker at all. What are the basic poker rules?
A:
There is plenty of documentation on the internet. Check for example "Wikipedia" to learn more about Texas Holdem.

Q:
Where can I find more help? Where can I report bugs? How can new features be requested?
A:
Please send your questions, comments and bug notifications via tab "Help ► Contacts" (after login). Your feedback is much appreciated.
